Mr. Ronald Vanden Pol and his wife Mrs. Erica Vanden Pol (the Gr. 2 teacher) were married in July 2011 and much to our delight have decided to make their first home together in the community of Fort McMurray.

Ronald brings with him a great background of Christian Education, having grown up in Christian schools, and then attending The King’s University College for his degree in Education, Last year he taught at a Christian school in Sylvan Lake, Lighthouse Christian Academy, where he assumed many responsibilities in a small school setting. Ronald's father, Jack, is a retired Christian school principal who has taught at Christian schools in Alberta for 38 years. The first 17 years at Edmonton Christian High School and for the past 21 years has been principal of CACHS (Central Alberta Christian High School) in Lacombe, Alberta. We are very excited to make use of Ronald's gifts, experiences, and talents as the Grade 5/6 Homeroom teacher.
